The University of Twente Scholarship for the academic year 2024-2025 presents an exceptional opportunity for international students pursuing master’s degrees. With around 50 scholarships up for grabs, this fully funded program offers financial support ranging from € 3,000 to € 22,000 for a single year of study. Notably, successful recipients may also qualify for an additional UTS grant to cover expenses for the second year of their academic journey.
Scholarship Benefits
The University of Twente Scholarship offers the following benefits to recipients:
An amount ranging from € 3,000 to € 22,000 for one academic year. For students enrolled in a two-year study program, an additional UTS equivalent to the first-year amount is available to cover expenses for the second year. However, continuation of the scholarship into the second year is contingent upon students meeting specific requirements. To be eligible for the second-year scholarship continuation, students must have achieved:
- An average grade of 7 (out of 10) by the end of the third quartile of the first year.
- At least 50% of European Credits completed by the end of the third quartile of the first year.
Requirements and Eligibility
- All countries around the world are eligible.
- You must not have previously graduated from a UT undergraduate or graduate program. Visa Requirements: You must fulfil the conditions for obtaining an entry visa in the Netherlands (if applicable).
- Applying for a UT scholarship is a separate process from applying for admission to a course at the University of Twente. Regardless of whether you are seeking funding, you must first obtain an admission letter.
- You must have been (provisionally) admitted to one of the qualifying UT Master programs that commence in the upcoming academic year (September). Please note that it may take up to 8 weeks after submitting your application to receive the results. Student Number:
- You must meet the general English language proficiency criteria, which include scoring at least 6.5 on the Academic IELTS (or 90 on the TOEFL iBT), with a minimum sub-score of 6.0 in speaking skills (or 20 on the TOEFL iBT).
