The University of Dundee offers partially funded Global Excellence Scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate studies for the academic year 2024-2025. These scholarships are open to international students worldwide. Recipients of the Global Excellence Scholarship can receive financial support of up to £5,000 annually in recognition of their academic achievements.
Scholarship Benefits
The Global Excellence Scholarship acknowledges academic merit by providing financial support of up to £5,000 per year (£15,000 for a three-year degree, £20,000 for a four-year degree, and £25,000 for a five-year degree).
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the Dundee Global Excellence Scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
- Eligible Countries: All countries worldwide.
- For Undergraduate Admission: Possess an academic offer of entry for an undergraduate program within any of the university’s academic schools, commencing in September 2022. Note: Students enrolled in programs in the School of Medicine or Dentistry are ineligible.
- Maintain International Fee status, as determined by the University.
- Attain a minimum of UK AAB at A Level (or equivalent) or meet equivalent criteria as determined by the University.
For Postgraduate Admission:
- Hold an academic offer of entry for a postgraduate taught program within any of the university’s academic schools, commencing in September 2022 or January 2023. The program must be full-time, 180 credits, and 12 months in duration.
- Maintain International Fee status, as determined by the University.
- Achieve either a UK 1st Class Honours degree or a degree considered equivalent at the discretion of the University.
