It has been a while we hear from Gionee mobile, they have finally cleared our doubt by introducing a new budgeted smartphone device called the Gionee P10m which comes with a 6.08-inch display and the trending waterdrop notch screen display. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition coupled with a 16GB inbuilt storage. Let see what this has to offer

Gionee P10m Design and Display

The Gionee P10m is made of a plastic material which is good for a budget-friendly device. The dual camera is sited at the top left corner of the device along with a LED flash. The P10m weighs a 184.5grams in weight which makes it a bit heavier and it is available in black colours only.

The Gionee P10m comes with a 6.08-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio coupled with a waterdrop notch display which houses the front-facing camera and a screen to body ratio of about 89%. The device features a bezel around the screen just like other most phones.

Gionee P10m Camera Features

The devices have a total of three cameras one at the front while two at the back. The back camera consists of an 8MP primary shooter and a 8MP secondary shooter hosted at the back of the camera. The back camera features a LED Flash which allows you to take pictures in a dark environment and with the ability to 1080p videos at 30fps.

While the front camera consists of a single 5MP camera which is hosted on the waterdrop notch display and can be used for video calling.

Hardware and Software

The Gionee P10m is powered by a MediaTek MT6580A SoC with a Quad-core processor that clocks at a speed of 1.3GHz coupled with a Mali GPU which take cares of the gaming and graphics aspect of the device. The device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) and with its own customized user interface.

The device uses a 16GB inbuilt storage with a 1GB of RAM that handles the smooth performance of the device. The memory space can also be expanded with the use of a microSD card of up to 64GB. The device uses a dual SIM support which also supports a 3G mobile network, other connectivity options include a Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS and a 3.5mm audio jack coupled with a MicroUSB port for charging and transferring of files. The Gionee P10m is powered by a 4,000mAh non-removable battery. Sadly it does not come with a fast-changing technology option.
